Provenance: Made by Rodd, an Australian silverware manufacturer established in Melbourne by George and Ernest Rodd. The company expanded into silver-plated tableware during the 1930s and became known for its decorative cutlery and serving pieces. Its change from the earlier APEX trademark to the RODD name around 1948 supports a mid-century dating for this piece
